Kemiko Neutra-Clean Concrete Cleaner
Description
NEUTRA-CLEAN is an industrial strength, high performance water base sodium meta silicate cleaner for the preparation of bare concrete and coated substrates. NEUTRA-CLEAN is water viscosity, single component product with a pleasant citrus odour that does not contain any hazardous solvents, is concentrated and diluted with water, and prepares the surface for staining, sealing and re-coating.
Applications
NEUTRA-CLEAN is typically applied to concrete substrates to remove deleterious matter such as grease, grime, soil, wall plaster, and other construction related residue. NEUTRA-CLEAN is applied with commercially available pressure sprayers, steam cleaners, or simply poured onto floor and worked into the surface with a stiff bristle brush or floor machine. Typical applications include commercial kitchens, grocery stores, restaurants, showroom floors, walkways, and many other interior and exterior surfaces requiring cleaning.

Surface Preparation
BARE CONCRETE - Use Neutra-Clean to remove visible oil, grease, sludge, stain residue and any other contaminants that may impact a Kemiko, Rembrandt or Kemiko Sta-Natural product application. Apply Neutra Clean to substrate, allow 2-3 minutes to "wet in" then scrub using stiff bristle brooms, brushes or heavy duty floor scrubbing machines. DO NOT ALLOW NEUTRA-CLEAN TO DRY ON SURFACE. Once the scrubbing action is completed, rinse surface with clean fresh water. Check surface again to insure all deleterious matter is removed. Repeat application of Neutra Clean if necessary. Surface shall be allowed to dry thoroughly prior to any staining, sealing or coating application.
EXISTING COATINGS/SEALERS - Apply small amount of Neutra-Clean on surface, allow to stand 5-10 minutes and rinse with fresh water. If existing coating or sealer is not affected (removed) by Neutra-Clean, proceed as instructed above for surface preparation. ACRYLIC SEALERS MAY BE COMPROMISED OR DESTROYED WITH NEUTRA-CLEAN. Make sure to check compatibility prior to application.
Application Methods
Brush - Use top-quality nylon bristle brush for best film properties.
Floor Machine - Electrical rotary type utilizing soft pads or black, green or white scouring pads
for heavy duty cleaning.
Spray - Low pressure "Hudson" type commercial sprayers to apply product followed by scrubbing
action.
Environment - Apply between 50°F - 100°F and 5°F above dew point. Do not store in direct sunlight.
Protect from freezing. Do not apply to wet or frosted surfaces.
Safety - May be irritating to eyes and skin! Wear gloves and eye protection during application.
Respiratory protection should be used if airborne concentrations exceed acceptable levels and to insure applicators
health. Typically a NIOSH/MSHA certified respirator with organic vapour / HEPA filters should be worn.
